Fisher's *Persepolis* presents a densely layered composition where architectural forms fragment and dissolve across the picture plane. The work employs a restricted palette of ochres, blacks, and grays to construct what appears to be the remnants of monumental structures—columns, walls, and geometric planes intersect and overlap in measured recession. The giclee process renders fine gradations of tone, creating spatial ambiguity between foreground and depth. Rather than suggesting architectural coherence, the fragmented forms propose ruin or archaeological palimpsest, where historical structures exist in states of partial legibility. The print's surface maintains a cool, analytical distance, emphasizing the material conditions of representation itself.
