Long Toed Salamanders Studies
Three long-toed salamanders arranged on bare white paper, each in a different attitude, painted in dark olive with the yellow dorsal stripe running the length of every one. Eight by eleven. A specimen sheet rather than a picture — the animals float with no habitat at all, which is how a naturalist records a species rather than a scene.
