Mount Baker, Artists Point
Mount Baker seen from Artists Point, snow and rock under a blue sky with alpine scrub in the foreground. Twenty-four by thirty-six, one of his largest works. Artists Point is named for what people go there to do, and Weiss paints it without irony — the mountain is the reason and the picture does not look for another one.
