Chat Room
A woman sits at a table with a laptop, in profile, in a room reduced to blocks of cream, ochre and slate. Twenty by sixteen. The title is dry — a chat room with one person in it and no one else visible — and the modern object sits inside a wholly traditional figurative structure.
